As 2021 came to a close, the impacts of COVID still remained and continue to impact our world today. The pandemic has not only changed the way in which businesses operate but has impacted the network infrastructure market and the state of European data center partnerships, opportunities, challenges and more.
Itās been reported by ResearchandMarketās.com that the European data center market is expected to grow at a CAGR of more than 4% between 2021-2026. Itās also known that digital transformation is the heartbeat of the EU as countries look to innovate their economies as the pandemic continues to keep hold of them.
Anthony Clarkson, Technical Director EMEA & India, Precision OT, participated in a recent JSA Virtual Roundtable to discuss the current state of the market, challenges, expected growth and more.
āWe are seeing phenomenal growth whether thatās in existing capacity and existing data centers or new data center builds from new players, as well as existing players expanding into new territories. Thereās growth everywhere really and itās because of those bandwidth demands. Every day Iām seeing reports from service providers across Europe that are hitting their max data on internal and external networks. Theyāre breaking records every week. Data usage is phenomenal and with working from home, itās getting bigger and bigger.ā
The panel was moderated by JSAās JoĆ£o Marques Lima, and also included speakers from 4D Data Centers, Corozon, Host in Ireland, and VIPA Digital.
