Precision OT’s CFP2-ER4 robust optical transceiver module is a high-performance solution tailored for 100G Ethernet networks, offering extended range capabilities that support data transmission up to 40 kilometers over single-mode fiber (SMF). Ideal for applications requiring extended reach, such as long-haul networks, metro networks, and large-scale data center interconnects, the CFP2-ER4 uses four 25Gbps lanes over a 1310nm wavelength, leveraging coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) technology for efficient data transmission.
With its compact CFP2 form factor, the CFP2-ER4 is designed for space-efficient deployments in dense networking environments. Its hot-swappable design offers minimal operational disruptions and enhanced network reliability.Â
