The transceiver uses single-mode fiber (SMF) and operates over a bidirectional (BIDI) transmission, which reduces fiber requirements while maintaining high bandwidth efficiency. The built-in digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) provides real-time data on module performance, enabling proactive network management and maintenance.
