The QSFP28-CWBD optical transceiver module enables 100G Ethernet transmission over distances of up to 2 kilometers using coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM4) and bidirectional (BIDI) technology. Operating over single-mode fiber (SMF) with LC duplex connectors, this transceiver efficiently transmits and receives data over a single fiber, optimizing fiber usage for short to medium-range applications.
Designed for use in commercial temperature (C-temp) environments, it features built-in digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) for real-time performance monitoring. Its hot-swappable design allows for quick and seamless installation or replacement without disrupting network operations, and its energy-efficient design reduces power consumption for cost-effective performance.
