Precision OT Ranks No. 10 on the 2022 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 List

Rochester, NY — November 02, 2022 — Precision Optical Technologies (Precision OT), a system engineering and integration company focused on optical transceivers and related networking equipment, has landed the number 10 spot on the 2022 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 list of the fastest-growing privately owned companies in the Greater Rochester region. The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce announced its full list of the Top 100 business leaders during a celebration ceremony at the Floreano Convention Center on November 1.

Within the past year, Precision OT has undertaken two significant expansions in both the U.S. and the EMEA. In February 2022, the company moved to a new, 43,000 square foot headquarters in Rochester, which features a production area almost three times larger than that of its previous facility. In April, Precision OT’s regional team based in London, UK, announced it too was moving to a larger facility with an expanded production area and an upgraded test lab. Together, these moves highlight not only surging demand for Precision OT’s high-quality products and engineering expertise, but also its growing manufacturing capability, which will enable even further growth through North and South America as well as the EMEA and APAC regions.

Designed to recognize the region’s entrepreneurial spirit, the Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 ranks businesses based upon both their dollar and percentage growth. Businesses must be headquartered in the nine-county Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region as well as have earned at least $1 million in revenue each year for the three most recent fiscal years to be eligible.
