The PRE-O400-DR4 is a high-performance 400G OSFP optical transceiver designed for high-speed, short-reach data center and cloud networking applications. Supporting 400GBASE-DR4 Ethernet, this module delivers reliable 400Gbps transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a reach of up to 500 meters using 1310nm wavelengths.
Built to the OSFP MSA form factor, the PRE-O400-DR4 enables high-density deployments in next-generation switching and routing environments. It incorporates EML transmitters for stable, high-speed optical output and PIN receivers for accurate signal detection, ensuring consistent performance across short-reach links.
The module utilizes an MPO-12/APC optical connector for parallel fiber connectivity, optimizing bandwidth and simplifying cabling in high-capacity infrastructures. With support for CMIS and integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), the transceiver provides real-time insight into key operating parameters, improving network visibility and reliability.
