The PRE-QD800-2DR4 is a high-performance 800G QSFP-DD800 optical transceiver engineered for short-reach, high-density data center and cloud networking environments. Supporting 2x400G-DR4 Ethernet transmission, this module delivers an aggregate bandwidth of 800Gbps over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a reach of up to 500 meters using 1310nm wavelengths.
Built on the QSFP-DD800 MSA form factor, the PRE-QD800-2DR4 enables seamless integration into next-generation switching and routing platforms. It utilizes EML transmitters for stable, high-speed signal transmission and PIN receivers for reliable signal detection. The module features dual MPO-12/APC connectors, supporting parallel optical interfaces for efficient high-bandwidth connectivity.
With support for CMIS and integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), the transceiver provides real-time performance visibility, enhancing network management and reliability. Designed for commercial temperature environments and optimized for power efficiency with consumption below 18W, the PRE-QD800-2DR4 is ideal for scalable, high-throughput optical infrastructures.
