Le Fog Computing est une technologie visant \u00e0 all\u00e9ger la pression sur\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.precisionot.com\/fr\/\">centres de donn\u00e9es<\/a>\u00a0en r\u00e9partissant les ressources et les services de calcul sur une zone plus large du r\u00e9seau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme avantage suppl\u00e9mentaire, le Fog Computing met l&#039;accent sur la proximit\u00e9 avec les utilisateurs finaux. Au lieu d&#039;acheminer toutes les communications vers un centre de donn\u00e9es central (comme avec le cloud computing), des serveurs ou des appareils proches de l&#039;utilisateur final sont utilis\u00e9s pour r\u00e9duire la latence et produire une meilleure qualit\u00e9 et pr\u00e9cision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-enter-the-openfog-consortium\"><strong>Entrez dans le Consortium OpenFog<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>En novembre 2015, le Consortium OpenFog a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un effort de collaboration impliquant plusieurs organisations, dont Dell, Intel, Microsoft et l&#039;Universit\u00e9 de Princeton. L&#039;objectif du Consortium est de faciliter la croissance de l&#039;IdO en construisant les cadres et architectures initiaux des technologies de brouillard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Fog Computing va-t-il r\u00e9ellement introduire plus de complexit\u00e9, r\u00e9duisant ainsi l&#039;efficacit\u00e9 ? Selon le pr\u00e9sident du consortium, Helder Antunes, m\u00eame avec la complexit\u00e9 suppl\u00e9mentaire, le fog computing promet d&#039;\u00eatre une meilleure solution pour les applications IoT. La technologie cloud souffre des longues distances entre les sources de donn\u00e9es et les installations de traitement, ce qui entra\u00eene des probl\u00e8mes de latence, de fiabilit\u00e9 et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. En utilisant des ressources mat\u00e9rielles \u00e0 la fois proches et lointaines, le fog computing att\u00e9nue ces probl\u00e8mes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;Internet des objets a stimul\u00e9 l&#039;imagination des entreprises technologiques, mais ces visions ont \u00e9galement fait craindre que des milliards d&#039;appareils ne surchargent les centres de donn\u00e9es bas\u00e9s sur le cloud.
