Ce ne sont l\u00e0 que quelques-unes des causes d&#039;un probl\u00e8me de FAI connu sous le nom d&#039;\u00e9puisement de la fibre. N&#039;ayant aucun moyen de voir l&#039;avenir et l&#039;explosion de la technologie de communication par fibre optique que cela entra\u00eenerait, les fournisseurs pensaient qu&#039;ils d\u00e9ployaient des quantit\u00e9s plus que suffisantes de c\u00e2blage en fibre lorsqu&#039;ils l&#039;ont initialement utilis\u00e9. Mais maintenant que les clients demandent plus de bande passante, ils constatent que leurs pipelines sont \u00e0 court de fibre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le probl\u00e8me de la construction d&#039;un pipeline plus grand est que, m\u00eame si les clients commerciaux sont pr\u00eats \u00e0 payer un suppl\u00e9ment pour une bande passante \u00e9tendue, les co\u00fbts impliqu\u00e9s dans la construction d&#039;une usine ext\u00e9rieure (OSP) sont prohibitifs. En plus des prix de la main-d&#039;\u0153uvre et des mat\u00e9riaux qui ne cessent d&#039;augmenter, des permis doivent \u00eatre obtenus et, dans certains cas, des probl\u00e8mes de zonage se posent. De ce fait, l&#039;installation d&#039;un nouveau c\u00e2ble est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une solution de dernier recours et \u00e0 \u00e9viter dans la mesure du possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WDM et capacit\u00e9 r\u00e9seau<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le Wave Division Multiplexing ou WDM peut augmenter la capacit\u00e9 d&#039;un r\u00e9seau existant sans ajouter une seule fibre. La technologie permet aux fournisseurs de combiner plusieurs longueurs d&#039;onde sur un seul brin, permettant ainsi d&#039;ajouter des \u00e9quipements \u00e0 chaque extr\u00e9mit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contrairement aux syst\u00e8mes de t\u00e9l\u00e9communications traditionnels qui n&#039;utilisent qu&#039;une petite partie du spectre des ondes lumineuses sur un seul morceau de verre, le WDM attribue des longueurs d&#039;onde distinctes \u00e0 des services sp\u00e9cifiques, puis utilise des multiplexeurs pour les combiner sur une seule fibre. Cela permet \u00e0 une fibre de fournir de nombreux services diff\u00e9rents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CWDM contre DWDM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il existe deux types de WDM, le Course Wave-Division Multiplexing (CWDM) et le Dense Wave-Division Multiplexing (DWDM). La principale diff\u00e9rence est l&#039;espacement des canaux. CWDM permet presque 100 fois entre les canaux que DWDM et ne peut donc prendre en charge que jusqu&#039;\u00e0 18 canaux. Il n&#039;est pas recommand\u00e9 pour les applications o\u00f9 le signal parcourt de longues distances. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que DWDM laisse beaucoup moins d&#039;espacement, il permet de regrouper beaucoup plus de longueurs d&#039;onde (canaux) dans la m\u00eame fibre ; et pour cette raison est recommand\u00e9 pour les applications qui n\u00e9cessitent un nombre \u00e9lev\u00e9 de canaux et des distances de transmission plus longues. En raison de sa densit\u00e9 accrue et de sa distance de transmission accrue, le DWDM n\u00e9cessite des composants d&#039;interface optique plus pr\u00e9cis et un faisceau laser concentr\u00e9 plus puissant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Consid\u00e9rations et exigences<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avant d&#039;installer un \u00e9quipement WDM, il est n\u00e9cessaire de s&#039;assurer que le verre existant supportera les longueurs d&#039;onde qui seront utilis\u00e9es. En r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, les fibres \u00e0 faible pic d&#039;eau ou \u00e0 pic d&#039;eau nul ne posent aucune difficult\u00e9, mais les types plus anciens peuvent avoir des probl\u00e8mes de pic d&#039;eau qui annulent leur utilisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#039;environnement pr\u00e9vu doit \u00e9galement \u00eatre pris en compte, en particulier si des armoires ou des bo\u00eetiers d&#039;\u00e9pissure non conditionn\u00e9s seront utilis\u00e9s, ou si des passifs CWDM seront d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#039;ext\u00e9rieur de l&#039;usine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour en savoir plus sur les sujets abord\u00e9s dans le blog des t\u00e9l\u00e9communications ou pour obtenir des informations sur nos \u00e9metteurs-r\u00e9cepteurs optiques, veuillez nous contacter.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cloud computing.
