Les municipalit\u00e9s d\u00e9veloppant des projets publics recherchent tous les mat\u00e9riaux et produits les plus r\u00e9cents pour p\u00e9renniser leur investissement. Pour toute communaut\u00e9 construisant un nouveau stade polyvalent, la p\u00e9rennit\u00e9 signifie planifier le d\u00e9placement parfait de pr\u00e8s d'un t\u00e9raoctet de donn\u00e9es pour la vid\u00e9o, la radio, le t\u00e9l\u00e9phone, les ordinateurs et les serveurs sur un r\u00e9seau. Les \u00e9quipes sportives, le personnel de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, les exploitants d'installations et des dizaines de milliers de personnes assistant \u00e0 un \u00e9v\u00e9nement, chacun avec son propre t\u00e9l\u00e9phone, sa tablette et sa montre, voudront se connecter au r\u00e9seau d'un stade et acc\u00e9der \u00e0 Internet. Le nouveau stade Mercedes-Benz et le parc SunTrust d'Atlanta utiliseront des milliers de kilom\u00e8tres de c\u00e2bles \u00e0 fibres optiques pour construire un r\u00e9seau de fibres optiques permettant tout cela et plus encore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chacun des projets comprendra des milliers de points d'acc\u00e8s pour les participants \u00e0 l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement et les fans et am\u00e8nera le c\u00e2ble \u00e0 fibre optique jusqu'au dernier pied ou moins des points d'acc\u00e8s au r\u00e9seau. Selon le Rapport sportif mobile<\/a>, le stade Mercedes-Benz comprendra 1 000 points d'acc\u00e8s sous les si\u00e8ges dans le bol du stade et 4 000 miles de c\u00e2ble \u00e0 fibre optique.
